The story...

For going on 8 years now, I've had the pleasure of fishing amongst a group of laid back, easy going, know-how-to-enjoy-life type of Pennsylvania fishermen during the state's trout opener.  Two of the group's originators (having made this get together well over 20 years) are brothers and both are proud Polish boys.  One of the brothers just happens to celebrate his birthday one of the days we're hee-hawing it up in the Allegheny Mountains.  Every year that I'm present on his big day I offer a small gift, usually a hunting themed print t-shirt of one type or another.  Last year (2014), I missed his birthday completely because I chose to leave early and I figured I had to find a way to that up to him.  He's a huge fan of camouflage print (being an avid outdoorsman and hunter), bass and trout fishing.  He celebrates his Polish heritage by naming his bass boat "The Fishing Pole".  Armed with that  information, I set out to construct a rod that wraps all of these attributes into the build.  I hope this accomplishes that goal!
