The story...
I was contacted by J.A. many months ago. Our initial conversations consisted of several question and answer emails which ultimately culminated in a tube filled with building "goodies" arriving to the shop several months later. J.A. provided me with a blank, reelseat, guides and several pieces of burled stabilized wood for our building project. The results of the assembly and creative crafting can be seen below...

Build Review:
This build was one of the most demanding that I can remember as far as time was concerned. As is always the priority, getting things exactly as the client envisioned them proved challenging, but in the end it was definitely worth it. I appreciate the patience that J.A. demonstrated while we worked together mocking up guide wraps and manipulating cork configurations to reach an agreeable outcome!
With this rod, the adventure ends, but another awaits my attention.... |
