The story...

I've built up a small inventory of various blanks over the years with the hopes of finding the time to actually build a few for myself.  Finding the time is difficult, but I do manage to get a couple out every now and then.  I was really anxious to get this one whipped up as it comes with a bit of notoriety and internet fan fare.  Matt Draft of Proof Fly Fishing has done a fine job of formulating a blank modulus that is an absolute dream to cast.  If this blank casts this amazing...I can't wait to build the Vivant (7'6" 3wt) I've got waiting in the rack!  I equipped the Aurora with RIO Trout LT Camo/Beige WF4F Fly Line and was casting a size 16 dry fly onto a paper plate at 50 feet without issue.  There's nothing unusual about this blank and this is a huge benefit.  Its predictable and doesn't take long to understand the casting tempo and driving power it prefers to be manipulated with.  If you haven't already guess it, I'm a fan.  Matt hit this one out of the ballpark!
